MRO AMERICAS 2020 Postponed to late August/early September
Given the continued concerns surrounding COVID-19, Aviation Week Network has decided to reschedule the April 28-30 event to late August/early September, thus the Aerospace Maintenance Competition has also been postponed. While we anticipate the event will take place the week of Aug. 30, 2020, exact dates are not yet confirmed. Watch the website for final dates which will be posted as soon as they are received.
All registrations, sponsorships, and team registrations will remain in the system. Participants need not make any arrangements directly with AMC unless they are unable to participate on the new dates. In that case, please notify us and allow a few weeks for the dust to settle before receiving a response.
For more information, see the following message from the show coordinators:
Dear MRO Americas Community,
We have made the difficult decision to reschedule MRO Americas at this time. This is not a decision we made lightly. We spoke to many of our partners, exhibitors, speakers and attendees, and the overwhelming consensus was that moving the show was most prudent, as the health and safety of our MRO Americas community is our top priority.
The MRO Americas team is working through a comprehensive effort to reschedule the event while simultaneously responding to the needs of the industry, the exhibitors, the attendees and all the other vendors and staff that work the show during this challenging time.
We will be moving the show to late August or early September and will confirm move-in and show dates as soon as possible. We hope that this proactive and transparent move allows us all to stay safe and conduct business in what we anticipate will be a less uncertain August/September timeframe.
We understand there will be questions and concerns following this announcement. Please contact events@aviationweek.com, and we will get back to you as soon as possible. We’re aiming to answer all questions within 48 hours but due to a high volume of emails, please expect a slight delayed reply and thank you in advance for your patience.
The conversations we’ve had over the last few days have proven how lucky we are to be part of this supportive, tight-knit industry. As everyone has been reminding us, great things happen when the aviation community comes together and connects at MRO Americas and we look forward to a belated celebration of 25 years of MRO Americas later this year.
We continue to work diligently to ensure all details are finalized and thank you for your patience and for your continued support as we all navigate this unprecedented situation.
Be well.
