Rodney Luetzen currently oversees line maintenance and technical operations maintenance control at United Airlines, managing nearly 5,000 technicians across 48 stations globally.
Rodney began his career at Continental in Denver after earning his mechanic certification from Colorado Aero Tech, later advancing to maintenance supervisor in Los Angeles and then to Houston, where he founded the United Recovery and Maintenance Specialists team. Rodney went on to hold positions as a shift manager, senior manager, and director of reliability engineering. Rodney is a certified Six Sigma black belt and also serves as United’s FAA-designated Director of Maintenance.
