The Competition at MRO Americas 2025 - Event Sponsorship

The Aerospace Maintenance Council, a non-profit organization, and its flagstone event, The Competition, recognizes and celebrates the aviation maintenance technician, and raises awareness of the knowledge and skill required to maintain safe, airworthy aircraft, worldwide. The competition is held annually in conjunction with Aviation Week’s MRO Americas.
The Competition provides an opportunity for current and future maintenance professionals to showcase their abilities and see how they stack up against peers across the country. Five-member teams complete in maintenance events intended to test skill and knowledge required of an aviation maintenance technician. Teams may register in one of the following categories:
- Commercial Airlines
- General Aviation
- Military
- Repair and Manufacturing
- School
- Space
The competition is supported through the generous contributions of the aerospace community. Sponsorship opportunities are available.
2025 Schedule
- 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM: Registration/Badge Pick-Up for MRO Americas
- 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM: Student and Military Competitor Tour (TBD)
- 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Event Setup (no competitors, please)
- 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM: Judge Briefing (judges only)
- 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM: Competitor Orientation (competitors, coaches, and judges only)
- 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM: Event Setup and Competitor Walk-Through
- 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM: Competition
- 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM: Competition
- 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM: After Party (TBD)
- 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM: Award Ceremony
- 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM: Exhibitor Breakdown
